Subject: Who is the brainchild who facilitated the switch to JACK-FM 2 years ago?

I feel that WCBS-FM would benefit if they got the corporate bosses (who made the decision to switch to Jack FM) to publically say "we screwed up NY. We're not from your neck of the woods, and we are not of your age group (probably younger and less wise). We really have no clue how New Yorker's think, and we had no clue how pissed off the loyal WCBS listeners would get when we yanked the station. What we're really sorry about is the fact that we lost alot of money for the corporation because we didn't realize you don't make a major change with something that works well (you may choose to tweak it a bit). We're sorry New York, we learned our lesson". I heard the corporate big boys were really sneaky about it too. No one knew that the fecal material would hit the fan that Friday afternoon 2 years ago. Welcome back, I'm happy and as a final word "Hit the Road Jack"- David R. Reich
