you are a whiner & a cry baby & the parade that you don't see is only because it isn't one you want to be a part of! Just because it isn't a parade that you're enjoying doesn't mean it isn't happening it's just that you'd have to be able to see past you & what YOU want to see the enjoyement of OTHERS! Like the 1 gentleman (tony) that just gave you an answer of "let's give them some time to get things up & going. In the mean time I'm enjoying the station". You can't just leave it at that you've got to belly ach some more about how they're not playing enough of what you want & tell him what's wrong with the station he JUST TOLD YOU HE'S ENJOYING that sir is raining on someone else's parade! You are in deed a whiner & a cry baby & you are most definitly raining on the parade that others are having.

The "signature sound" of WCBS that you claim is "Doo Wop" is only because that's what YOU liked! I remember WCBS FM very well & if Doo Wop was the signature sound it would have played round the clock daily! Buddy Holley, Rickie Valence, the big bopper etc. all from the 50's none from the Doo Wop & they were all "signature sounds of WCBS FM"! FURTHERMORE the signature sound of OLDIES that started the station off included hits from the 40's! I know this because I HEARD them & learned to dance to many of them as well as the 50's! I know the "signature sound sir because I LIVED WCBS FM except of course for Sunday nights!

It was clear days ago that you haven't liked the idea of WCBS FM coming back since prior to it happening & you've been saying it's not going to work & "I wish it the best & I'm glad you're all happy but I'll stick with my Sirius". Well go listen to your Sirus & stop the complaining already.

Oh & as far as the stats on the station This is the play list from from yesterday between the hours of 1:20 pm & 3:00 pm. While there were MANY songs from the 60's all of which are considered OLDIES I've only included the dates on the ones from the Pre '64 era. There are 5 songs pre '64 era in this hour & 1/2 alone! Later after I stopped noting the songs they played, I heard Chuck Berry, the Beach boys again with a different number but one I know is early 60's & Elvis I heard twice. They just cannot play everything YOU want back to back 24/7 & if they did you wouldn't be listening! perhaps if you'd actually listen you'd be plesantly surprised? At any rate stop ruining it for the rest of the listeners!

1:20 pm Eddie Cochran "Summertime Blues" 1958 - Kingsmen "Louie Louie" - Linda Ronstad "you're no good" Steve Wonder "I wish" - MFSB - "TSOP" - Beatles "I wanna hold your hand" 1963 - Miracles "you really got a hold on me". 1962 - Rolling Stones "Start Me Up" - Neil Diamond "Cracklin Rosie" Kenny Logins "Your Mama don't Dance" The Beach Boys "Don't Worry Baby" Fleetwood Mac "Dreams" Wilson Picket "Land of a Thousand Dances" Billy Joel "Movin Out" Drifters " Under the Boardwalk" 1964. Aretha Franklin "Chain of Fools" The Tops "Ain't no Woman" The Zombies "Time of the Seasons" Wild Cherry "Play that Funky Music" Los Lobo "LaBamba" Isle Brother "This Old Heart of Mine" Ringo Star "Photograph" Easeybeats "Friday on my Mind" Tina Turner "What's love got to do with it" Troggs "Wild Thing" Bob Dylan "Lay Lady Lay" Beach Boys "Kokomo" Steve Wonder "Signed, sealed, delievered" Jackie Wilson "your love is liftin me. Boston "More than a Feeling" Men at Work "Down Under" Marvin Gaye "What's going on" Rascals "It's a Beautiful Morning" Every Mothers Son "Come on Down to My Boat" Freddy Cannon - Palisades Park 1962

Who could be so crabby after hearing "Palisades Park"?
