Yesterday, a free doo wop show was held at the East Brunswick Public Library, featuring the local group SideWalk Serenade. It was an SRO crowd, right in the library! The group made mention of Don K Reed and the return of CBS-FM. They seemed resigned to the fact that 50s and pre-'64 music will not be an integral part of the format.

So there's no market for pre-'64 music? I disagree! They had a Beatles cover band in that same auditorium a few months ago for the library's 40th anniversary and it wasn't nearly as filled as it was yesterday.
