For WCBS FM to ignore its '50s-early '60s musical base is a slap in the face to its listeners, old and young. Frankly, I could do without the constant '70s-'80s 250-song playlist that I'm afraid will be the repertoire. I was listening to an aircheck from June 1976 on the CBS-FM tribute site and they played Neon Philharmonic's "Morning Girl". That is a song that you would most likely hear on Dick Bartley's show or on CBS-FM's top 20 countodwn from spring 1969.

If CBS-FM decides it won't be devoting even the slightest form of a specialty show to '50s-early '60s and doo wop, then I guess I'll just have to listen to the old airchecks which are floating around in cyberspace.
