It's very obvious you didn't even read the article before making comments on it. If you had read the article, you would have known that Mr Hinckley said nothing about the station doing wrong and that it would fail. To the contrary, he felt the station would survive by not playing pre '64 music and gave the reasons for it. Mr Hinckley is a well respected journalist and this is one of the first articles actually analyzing the format. What he is saying is that this is going to be the format of the station - no pre '64, which should make you happy. I don't know why you are ranting. This is an interesting article pertaining to the station and most people on this board would find it a good read, even you if you read it. You seem to have venom for anyone who disagrees with the new format. This is a discussion board, people are allowed to have different opinions.
And by the way, you do no have to be listening 24/7 to know what's being played. There are sites you can go to that list the songs played since Thursday in both chronological order and alpabetical order by artist. Believe it or not, we know exactly what is and is not being played. People expressing an opinion don't deserve to be bashed.
