Subject: WCBS-FM top 500

Many of us anxiously await the WCBS-FM top 500 which begins at 9 AM tomorrow. Will the music be fully inclusive and feature songs from the '50s right through the 80"s? Or will it reflect the current format which de-emphasizes anything prior to the mid-60's? Will the survey truly reflect the votes given over their website in recent weeks or will it be a predetermined list? Perhaps it will be a combination of these factors with only the most well known '55-'64 hits and exclude any hard-core doo wop or light pop or Brill Building type songs deemed too dated. I am hoping they don't do what WABC did in its final years--e.g have a blank at certain numbers when an out of format song is listed e.g. "I love r & R " was not played because it was too hard rocking for the 1982 WABC format. We shall see.
