Bruce-I have to disagree with you. In my lifetime their have been many format changes including WABC, WMCA, WINS, WWDJ, WNEW-FM, WHN becoming WFAN and WNBC becoming WFAN. All these format changes were announced far in advance. In fact I remember WABC having a special final weekend before they went talk in 1982 and a final show with Dan Ingram and Ron Lundy. Yes, I will try not to get my hopes up until the flip back to Oldies happens.
