Amen to that... Jack is a terrible format. This is a classic case of borderline idiots (radio constultants) that think they know everything because they have a degree.. A cross breed format is tough when you have classic rock stations for the people that want classic rock, easy listening for those that want it, pop for those that want pop, etc.. Besides the terrible "personna" of the station there is just too much competition... Jack fed on the fact that there are nearly as many CBS FM haters (people that were forced to listen to it as kids) as there are lovers.. It looks like the hate was never deep enough for Jack to pull ratings.

These consultants are constantly destroying stations.. I personally witnessed WCNJ go down the tubes.. This recently graduated idiot tried to tell ME what MY demographic is when he never picked up one of my phone calls, took one of my requests, etc.. He then proceeded to tell me I need to update my show and talk less (be like a "mainstream" dj). I told him to ^$%$ off and the station didn't mess with my show.. The rest of the shows (and the station eventually) - - - Gone.
