Wow Barb I learn something new every day. I had no idea that WABC AM had been playing music? It would never have occured to me to even check that station to see it's been so long since they went over to talk radio.

I noticed Bob Shannon I think earlier say that they were going to bring back the top 20 count down back. I don't remember this & I guess it must have been on during a time I didn't have the radio on but who was it that did this?

I always just liked having differnt music mixed in because then if there's something I don't like it's just a few minutes. I use to love the 50's music but it was Buddy Hollie & such I liked yet on Sunday night the Doo Wop stuff was all the same sounding to me &/or it sounded like hours of listening to Sha Na Na song after song. Didn't really effect me to much because Sunday night isn't usually a time I'd be listening anyway but it just seemed like so much of the same for such a long period of time. There aren't to many different genre's of music I don't like except maybe for rap & even the years or different decades I do ok with. I'm pretty eclectic & I think some times I've trouble understanding why others object to 1 era or another you know?

All I know is that i'd missed the oldie stuff & it does feel so good to have it back. :)
