well I'm sorry but first you don't have to agree with everything I say & I don't care if you agree with me at all. All I know is it's been so long since I've heard the Beach boys I'm estatic! You said "Since WCBS-FMs return they have heavily concentrated their format on seventies and eighties music" First they've only been on since what yesterday? and 2nd I disagree I've heard many songs from the early 60's just today here & they've been playing the Supremes as I write here. Earlier they played the drifters, Eddie Cochran, Steve Wonder, The Mircales, The kingsmen, The Beach Boys, the Isle Brothers & the Beatles. While they did play the Beach boys "Kokomo" which is from the 80's I believe earlier they played "Don't worry Baby" which I thought was from the late 60's.

I think rather than sit here & say "this isn't right & that is all wrong" we just need to give them a little bit of time to really get it back together here. They've only been back on the air for a little over 24 hours! We have no way of knowing who they've tried to get back & who they just couldn't and we have no way of knowing if they won't include more 50's stuff & especially if they're asked to. But again rather than sitting here having a hissy fit because they haven't played Buddy Holley perhaps we should just be thrilled that we're hearing "Summertime Blues" by Eddie Cochran? And then maybe we could make a request for the others until it just becomes part of the regular format. This to me is much more effective than having the advertisers go to research online what's being said & hearing all the whining & crying that the music isn't right & everyone staying with "Sirius radio". We don't want them to pull the plug again right?
