In reply to: AL 's message, "welcome back to the "new GOOD GUYS"" on Monday, July 16, 01:22:02pm

Ahhh, I remember the "Good Guys", I was 10, my Dad gave me my first transistor radio, cream and red with dial in the middle, and I tuned into WMCA... It was 1961... Yes I know I'm giving away my age, but what the h_ll, right! As a teenager I was always at Palisades Park to see the acts. We raised our 2 daughters to "Oldie Music", they are 33 and 36 now, and know all the songs, they may not play it all the time, but when the concerts come to the Meadowlands every year, my younger one is there... When in the company of older people, it is not believed they know all the words. When CBS was JACKED in 2005, I lost my friend, a member of my family... And for 6 months I mourned (b_tched)... LOL And for Xmas of 2005 we were given a Sirius receiver and subscription from our daughters, oh happy day, everyday I play my 50's and 60's, and that is the only reason we went to pay radio, there just wasn't anything good on the free dial anymore and I didn't want to be without my oldies. But now I have even a bigger choice, pay and free. I've posted before and told you how happy I am that CBS is back, and it is always playing in my van, home, puter, I love it, if I could stand on my head to listen, I would... LOL
Please, why don't we all just agree to disagree and keep this board full of wonderful memories, and let's all be happy and patient and give the "New" CBS a chance.
