Don K. Reed did say CBS-FM 101.1 a couple of times but he caught himself doing it.

Remember one thing. Since 1972, he has been heard on that station and he was repeating the call letters, etc. for 33 years. Anyone that changed stations after all that time might have a tendency to do that by accident.

The fact that he referred to CBS-FM as the other place does not necessarily mean he was taking his anger or frustration out on the air. I think Don K. Reed and the other jocks that worked at 101.1 understand that you don't refer to any other stations by name in commercial radio because even though they may be doing different programming, they are looked at as competition and you don't want to cause someone to tune over to CBS-FM to find out what they are doing.

Whether he is angry at them for letting him go in 2005 is none of our business.
