Alan, HD Radio is a desperate attempt by traditional broadcasters (CBS & CC) to strike back at satellite and the internet. They're several years too late. The cat (satellite and the internet) is out of the bag. CBS, CC and the like will be playing catch-up for a long time to come. Their future is questionable at best.
