Subject: Format changes are very secretive

Let's think back to many of the major format changes over the years. Most were very secretive since one station does not want the competition to know what they are doing. On June 3, 2005 at 3:55 PM nobody knew what was going to happen. In February 1996, we knew that 103.5 was going to drop country, but the station stunted for a week before they revealed their new format. To quote Billy Paul "We must be extra careful not to build our hopes up too high."
