I respect your point of view regarding CBS-FM. Frankly based on how WOGL in Philadelphia sounds, I am not surprised at the direction I believe the format will be taking based on the press release that was issued today.

I am not criticizing CBS-FM. On the contrary! I am glad they are back.

As to the talent, I must disagree with you. Before you bad mouth Broadway Bill Lee, listen to him on www.stevemcvie.com. This is a tribute site to the Mike Joseph consulted Hot Hits format in the 1970s.

When you go to the site, click on audio and go to WTIC-FM. Listen to Bill Lenky when he was on that station. That is Bill Lee.

Broadway Bill Lee is a high energy jock and he can do a lot with the phones and getting the listeners involved if they will let him on CBS-FM. He did that on Hot 103 and later on Hot 97. In fact in my opinion he was the only reason I would listen to those stations as I am not a fan of hip hop or rap.

Broadway Bill Lee is a perfect fit with Bob Shannon and Dan Taylor and the three of them are a big part of what CBS-FM needs to be successful in my opinion.
Also if you are a subscriber to www.reelradio.com, you can hear what Bill Lee sounded like when he was on KFRC. He rocked there too.
