Subject: My Personal Thanks...

to ALL the great radio people who have made the last two years more bearable: Paul Sidney, Bob Shannon, Connie T. Empress, Rusty Potz, and the gang at WLNG (LOVED "Behind the Hits"--they KNOW their stuff!); Art Rooney of WGHT, the GREAT Felix Hernandez at WBGO/WRKS-FM (where Bob Shannon did his FIRST post-CBSFM appearance, with a "guest" appearance by Bobby Jay), Christine Vitale of WFDU-FM's Group Harmony Alley (Bobby Jay was in the studio for an ENTIRE evening - DE-LICIOUS!); Tony Dee and MaxMan at WNNJ Oldies 1360 in Sussex, New Jersey--TRUST me, these guys KNEW what to do and HOW to do it (get well quickly, SuperMax!), my new sweetie Golden Gup at WMTR 1260AM in New Jersey (he is FUN-NY AND the REAL DEAL!), Johnny Z at WFAS-FM in Westchester (the REAL-EST oldies DJ in Westchester County!), the old WNEW-FM Mix 102.7 (Moire Mason and the gang - Bobby Jay "kicked major butt" during their 2006 Classic Dance Weekend in 2006 and WAS TREMENDOUS!), BUT...

Terrestrially-speaking, I give the BIGGEST props to Bill Wise and the gang at WBZO-FM (B103) in Long Island--on June 12, 2005, BOTH Bobby Jay AND Don K. Reed were on with The Wiseman and Frank talking it down and taking it out with class and style -- and Bob Shannon called in to boot! (and brought me to tears in the process!); since then, B103 has NOT let down ONE bit on their support of OUR guys and OUR music -- Bobby has filled in on B103 MANY times (in fact, he's fillin in for The Wiseman and Frank this week!) and has CONTINUALLY proven WHY he should be BACK on terrestrial radio FULLTIME! He's STILL got it going on!

I am ALSO VERY THANKFUL to Sirius Satellite Radio - for not only having channels devoted to OUR music, but for having the common sense to hire Bobby Jay (SoulTown 53), but Norm N. Nite and Cousin Brucie (60's) as well as the GREAT Pat St. John, who has MORE than proven to this old-timer that he is a multi-talented class act!! (hey, Jeff, hire Pat)

Internet-wise, I have to give props to my buddy Ron Kovacs at RadioMax Music, who has continued to play not only the newer music but has increasingly embraced the oldies and has had Bobby Jay, Bob Shannon, and the Empress on MANY times (my personal fave is from September 1, 2005!).

I need to thank ALL the incredible listeners and posters - who NEVER gave up on our music and our jocks -- oh, isn't payoff so sweet!!

And to you, my beautiful Mark, bless you for having this AWE-SOME website that we were able to go to (PLEASE keep it up!) and remember the old times and celebrate the new ones that are yet to come! You are the BEST!!
