This day is being observed by program directors in every market that lost its oldies station. Two years ago, when the hi-JACK-ing happened, it was felt that if CBS-FM, the mother of all oldies stations in the nation's largest market could flip, then why shouldn't we? It will be very interesting to observe what happens now, not only with CBS-FM, but in those other markets as well.

I always knew CBS-FM had the most loyal audience in the history of radio and we let our feelings be known when our beloved station was taken away so ruthlessly. The management team that did this is gone, which in no uncertain terms is a major reason why this event is happening. If Chad Brown and Joel Hollander were still there, they wouldn't have brought back oldies under any circumstances. No further comment on that!

They say everything in life happens for a reason. Welcome back CBS-FM! Enjoy the day everybody!
