You don't have to be in the hallways at CBS-FM to understand why Infinity changed the format last June.

What I said was the number of spots on the air isn't necessarily indicative of how well a station is doing because there's no way of knowing how much money each spot was generating. Is that in dispute?

Are you saying Macy's did not drop its advertising on WCBS-FM? It's well known that they did.

I am not trying to act like I have inside information. I'm trying to explain why the No. 16 station may be more successful than the No. 4 station in the 12+ ratings. Some people here don't understand that.

BTW, don't you think people in the advertising community have a pretty good handle on what happened at CBS-FM and how things were trending for the station? If the oldies format were still a viable option, wouldn't some struggling station have jumped on it before the end of June '05 and cashed in on all the publicity related to CBS-FM's demise?
