I disagree with you entirely. Again every other station in NY including WABC in 1982 gave there DJ's a farewell show. Itis called good will. Many of the DJ's who have been there for 33 years deserved it as well as the loyal listeners. It shows what infinity thought of its staff and listeners. There attitude was "We are changing formats now, we don't need you anymore". That is wrong and disrespectful to both the listeners and the staff. Although most oldies listeners would not listen to Jack, Infinity is getting what it deserved, a station that is a loser.
