Subject: Listening to Odies On Line?

Just out of curiosity... If you now have to listen to Oldies on line, why are new yorkers listening to RealOldies.com and other out of town or AM feeds and not listening to WCBSFM.com? The music is great, the playlist is extensive just like early CBS FM... all the jingles are there, and yes, they even have some commercials!

...and to all those who hope that Oldies will be brought back to 101.1 FM, Its not impossible given JACK's non ratings, but the expensive, star quality jocks will never be brought back to the station. As much as we miss them, CBS will not pay their salaries any more, when they can hire the likes of Holly Levis, and other newbies and unknowns for much less. I listen on line all the time and will buy an HD clock radio as soon as the price drops another 100 bucks.

And a note to Jeff Mazie... You are doing a GREAT JOB! Thank you for keeping a light lit for us. We are NOT an economically undesireable demographic... Les Monves? He'll be an undeniable joke of the radio business very very soon. Hey Les, ever heard of "New Coke"?
