Subject: First Anniversary

A year has passed since the music died,
The afternoon of June 3, 2005.
They say we're to old to be influenced by ads,
They think we don't care about the latest fads.
The suits say our demo is unappealing,
This makes their shortsightedness so revealing.
A tragedy for those who lost employment,
A whole generation lost their enjoyment.
Towards the end OUR station was bad,
For longtime listeners it was very sad.
Lets look at the bright side of this travesty
We all went home to WABC.
