Alan, you have echoed my sentiments exactly. When I subscribed to Sirius nearly three years ago, I did so fully expecting the eventual massacre of CBS-FM. I knew then that we baby boomers had better look for other ways to hear our music, because FM was about to declare us dead.

NY oldies fans, if you're wishing for another major station to pick up the format, I say forget it. I've said it before, major station operators want no part of the oldies format regardless of profit or listener numbers. To quote you Alan, listen to oldies online or get satellite radio. Now you can hear Cousin Brucie, Norm N. Nite and Don Tandler on Sirius. Our guys have found their new home.
