First of all, that's to bad that stations such as WMTR 1250 AM in Morristown can not be heard well in your area.

In response to a previous post, I appreciate your comments but this board is not about me.
I am one person with an opinion and I welcome anyone who agrees or disagrees with me.

I have kept up with the business for 49 years and have worked in it off and on since the 80s.

Getting back to Frank's comment about WNYH, you could be right. I think idealy they want people that will buy time and do what they want over there.

That station over the past several years has been through several owners and different formats. It was WGSM and it was a good sounding suburban radio station.

As time went on, they did everything from Radio Disney to simulcasting or offering the same programs on two Long Island stations. WGSM on 740 and WHLI on 1100. Then they were sold and they were brokered Korean. Then they were sold again and went off the air for several months and came back as WNYH and what they are now under a different owner.

I hope all that interested you and let's hope that somehow we get oldies back on a signal that can be heard everywhere.
