I have to agree with you and Frank on what killed CBS FM as a legendary oldies station however I think the beginning of the end goes back even further.

When Max Kinkel was let go in the 90s, that in my opinion was the first indication that changes were coming at 101.1 FM.

The problem with Jamin oldies in my opinion was somewhat similar to what happened in the last three years of the oldies format on CBS FM. The playlist was limited and the approach on the air was not as hot as it could have been.

I also hope as I stated in my previous post that an oldies station will come to the greatest city in the world. I believe it will.
