As I said in a different thread regarding this topic: isn't it interesting that the program director comments that they are filling a hole in the market by putting this format on the air in Portland. On top of which they are owndd by CBS Radio. All I can say is "wow."

I feel a huge hole exists in the biggest radio market in America because the same company that owns this radio station pulled oldies and the jocks associated with the format off the air last June. They changed to a musically confused from a programming standpoint concept that does not have any announcers.

Put this music on in Portland but not in New York. Makes sense to me, right? I'm afraid not.
