They both deserve to land on their feet somewhere. What's Don K Reed up to lately? I've been listening to The Doo Wop Drive-In on Sirius for nearly three years and I've always wondered what Don K's comments would be. If you haven't heard it, Bob Thomas does a great job every Sunday night. He plays the well-known New York hits, but he also plays sides by those groups I never heard before and find I'm liking them a lot! Email requests come in as expected from the NY/NJ area, but I get a real kick when I hear requests from such places as Alabama, Oklahoma, Arizona, places we don't associate with doo wop. And they say there's no market for this music? Guess again!
