Richard, CBS-FM drove me right to Sirius in 2003 and I haven't looked back! Little did I know that Cousin Brucie and Norm N. Nite would eventually be there! Even in 2003, I knew something like "Black Friday" was going to happen eventually.

The radio we grew up with in New York had something for everybody. Today, New York has THE worst stations in the country. It is a travesty that Chicago, Philadelphia and Boston to name a few, still have oldies stations, but New York has none. The Madison Ave ad agencies will not pay for it, regardless of potential market share or profit. Pure and simple, that is why oldies will never again be heard on the New York airwaves.

JACK-FM may be getting a miniscule 1.3 rating here in Middlesex County, NJ, but that misguided soul at the East Brunswick Transportation Center still plays it every morning. I wonder if he knows about those ratings!
