They say that when one door closes, another door opens. The death of 101.1 was followed by the birth of a beautiful friendship.

I met my dear friend Christine through one of the original radio message boards online. We bonded so quickly -- initially over the loss of our radio station. I probably would never have met Chrissie if this hadn't happened. I mourn the loss of WCBS FM and my beloved DJs, but I rejoice in the love I share with my new, and I know, my lifelong friend.

May you all be blessed with something good from something bad.
