No ... didn't come across the song in question. The page had Franchi in five episodes; he on the same show with other singers such as Julie Budd and Leontyne Price, but no nibbles yet.

'Make Believe' from 'Showboat' will more than suffice in the interim, though. D/L it! Terrific hook and windup. The song, if edited, BEGGED for an Ed Sullivan Show duet by somebody.

That Sullivan scroll you provided, even for a teenaged punk like me (one stuck watching his Folks' TV shows) is just as much fun reading as it was seeing and hearing. I'm a few weeks' too young to remember Presley being on twice, only weeks apart after his debut, yet that's what the anthology says....
