Definitely and indeed improved in the second installment of WABC's Saturday Night Oldies, and the music chosen to be played that night (12/10/05) was amazing. What a thrill to hear such personal favorite classics as the Del-Vikings' "Come Go With Me", the Spinners' "It's A Shame" and the O'Jays' "Back Stabbers" brought much excitement to this listener.

And at last, it was great to listen to our own Bob Shannon ("America's Disc Jockey" as Ron Lundy used to say) heard again on a New York City radio station over the airwaves. I understand that Mark Simone is trying for the next show on 12/17/2005 Harry Harrison to make an appearence on WABC, his last being on this year's Memorial Day Rewound talk wrap-up.

And FYI, and as mentioned on WABC, "Chicken Delight" does indeed exist today, somewhere in the New York tri-state metropolitan area, with one store in Staten Island, another in Westbury (L.I.), and six more scattered throughout northern New Jersey. There is even just only one "Chicken Delight" in Los Angeles.
