Subject: SORTA Oldies related song questions....

It's amazing how supermarket music and mini-mart music sometimes kicks the snot out of what radio is doing.

Heard just tonight were two songs which really sounded cool. I could use some help with the title/artists, if this can be allowed.

Song one: Supermarket music.
'Christmas In Love' seemed to be the title. Male group vocals. Sounded like a sedated Glen Campbell or Kenny Rogers after a vitamin shot. More than mildly country. Any glimmer?

Song two: Turkey Hill mini-mart.
..'I'm ready ... cause some thunder (?)....' was the apparent title. Female vocal. Half-disco; half rock. The guitar sounded like that from Foreigner's 'Urgent'. One of the scant few songs that 60's people would indict and say -- 'HEY!!! Where does this station get the nerve to play a modern pop song that has what passes for an actual HOOK?!?!?'

Operators are standing by other operators.
