Black Friday, June 3, 2005 was a sad day for all of us. It was my anticipation that this would eventually happen that sent me to Sirius in May 2003. In fact, I didn't know what had happened until I saw it in the Star Ledger the next morning. I had long since moved on from CBS-FM.

I have never, and would never tune in JACK-FM, but I've been exposed to it and I agree with you, it's garbage! They proudly proclaim themselves, "The Radio Station of the Future". I just ignore it. The JACK-FM line "Playing What We Want" is a joke. I happily pay for Sirius and listen to what I want. I even get to hear Cousin Brucie and Norm N. Nite.

CBS-FM was a great station that can never be replaced. It's like the neighborhood you grew up in is gone and your family of origin is dead. You move on, but it's never the same.

Happy New Year!
