Agree too, but here's a thought - If you only allow the winner to attend state, then if that person chooses not to represent the title at state, then those fees paid will go to the first ru or first person willing to compete! I also think your gonna have to offer a LOT more prelims to make anything like that work. Otherwise you will only have 5 or 6 to compete in each age division! -- ~~ LMNC 2008 ~~

I in some way think that only the winners should go and not runner ups. I know there would be more against that with the moms though. Think about it,when you get older and still doing pageants you wont have a choice. So get ready now. Then the pageants would have more contestants because everyone would want to go and win if they want to go to state. Change is not always bad. There are like 15-16 prelims now. That is as many as in the normal age groups at state. The first runner up should be able to go if the winner doesn't,that I totally agree. But this is a waist of time because no changes of the sort will ever take place. (NT) -- Anonymous, 03/ 7/08 3:55pm

  - Re: FYI: Actually, I counted and 17 have taken place, and 6 more are scheduled which totals 23. I may be wrong on my totals if there are others that have just not been posted as of yet. The ones I have not seen a date for are PO Eastern Carolina, PO Cumberland Co, PO Robeson Co., or PO Charlotte which would total 27.
