Noelle- *sees H.B body on da floor bleeding & screams* SOMEBODY HELP!!! SOMEBODY PLEASE CALL 911!!

Noelle- *wakes up screaming* HELP!
Ma- *rushes to her room* honey wats wrong?!
Noelle- i had dat dream again
Ma- *hugs noelle for a long time*

ma didn't kno wat else to do but hug me. every night for da past 3 days i woke up screaming, from having the same nightmare about H.B getting shot.
i hadn't gone to school since dat night. my parents & da skool said i would be better off staying home for awhile. ranika, tisha & da rest of da crew called me daily to check on me, to see if i was doing better. at night i was scared to go to sleep, i feared of dreaming of the night H.B got shot. but my eyes would give up on me and next thing i knew i woke up screaming from dat nightmare. H.B's sister called frequently to let me kno how H.B was doing. luckily with all da praying we did, H.B survived but now he is in a coma. i did get to go visit him 2 days after he got shot. i saw him in that hospital bed laying helplessly. all i could do was break-down on site and cry. i constantly prayed & asked God, why it had to be H.B?.






~A YEAR LATER(17)~

it has been about a year now and H.B is still in a coma. i turned 17, it's to bad H.B missed that. i wanted him to see me. i longed to see his smile. ma had a little boy (my brother) his name is Hakeem(after H.B) desmond johnson. i had da honor of naming him hakeem. the police found out who shot H.B and he got arrested for attempted murder. now he's in jail for 21 years. jerome, kayvon & chris graduated from da high skool. H.B would've too, but... litisha & chris hooked up after that big fight she had with danika. oh & did i mention that, danika, who was suppose to be a friend of H.B ain't even come to visit him once! i mean how hard is that?! it's not, just take a ride down to da hospital & come see how he's doing. or at least call his sister or sumthin'. but nah she ain't even do dat. but anyways, me, my life has been progressing slowly. all i do is, come from skool, take da city bus, and ride straight down to da hospital, and sit in dat hospital room by H.B side. which is wat i'm doing right now.

Noelle- *reading a magazine*
H.B- *moves his hand*
Noelle- *didn't notice*
H.B- *weakly says* where am i?
Noelle- *jumps up from her seat* H.B!

the doctor outside notices noelle yelling and rushes to the room.

Doctor- *sees H.B moving* Nurse! *calls a nurse in* when did he wake up? *talkin to noelle*
Noelle- *all excited* just now! i mean i was sitting there and he woke up and asked where was he!
Doctor- *happy to see H.B woke up*

the nurse comes in quickly

Doctor- noelle where gonna have to do sum tests on him, to check if he's feeling well. so can u please wait in the waiting room?
Noelle- *all excited* okay. just make it quik! oh i'm so happy! *hugs the doctor & the nurse*
Doctor & nurse- *smiles*

i left the room to go wait in the waiting room. i quickly picked up my cell and called everyone to tell em da good news. next thing u kno da waiting room was packed with a bunch of us. we had gifts, balloons, & flowers. kadira was crying not because she was sad, or anything, it was all for joy. joy that H.B finally woke up. when the doctor came bak outside she saw all of us waiting impatiently and said we could all go see him but 3 at a time. so first it was kadira, litisha & chris. then jerome, kayvon & ranika. after them came my mom, dad, & hakeem(baby bro). i was last to go in by myself. i wanted to talk to him alone.

Noelle- *enters the room quietly & closes the door* H.B? it's me El.
H.B- *still a little weak* hey baby gurl *smiles*
Noelle- *happy to hear his voice* i missed u so much.
H.B- so did i *laughs weakly*
Noelle- *laughs softly* how do u feel?
H.B- weak & tired
Noelle- awww
H.B- but i'm good *smiles*
Noelle- do u kno how long i've waited to see ur smile?
H.B- *smiles*
Noelle- too long and all i want to do is *kisses his lips softly* kiss those soft lips of urs
H.B- ur makin me blush *laughs weekly*
Noelle- *laughs softly*

we talked for about 11 minutes until the nurse came in and told me visiting hours were done and i could come see him tommorrow. i asked her when he'll be out of the hospital, she said it'll be another week till he gets out. i went home that night, and fell asleep. no more nightmares, i just fell asleep & dreamed softly.
