Nicole takes off Ziyadah's halter and leans on the fence, watching him. The onyx stallion was sleek with water, and he was charged with adrenaline.

Nicole honestly did not know what to do with him. On the racetrack, he was all fire, all speed.. he was the fastest horse she had ever seen in her life. But that did no good, because on the racetrack he was also almost uncontrollable. He was already three years old, so he had to start racing now, if he was going to race.

Ziyadah bucked skywards, swerved, and took off across the pasture.

Nicole narrowed her eyes determinedly. She would turn this unruly, wild horse into a champion racehorse, if it was the last thing she did..
