Subject: Cael drank from a DAIMON to remain undead, he is now__________________(fill in the blank if you have a clue). Discuss.

Our early and very excited discussions are pretty cluttered, so to make it easier I thought that I would start some new threads.

[> It will be interesting. He doesn't seem to be inherently evil, but Stryker sees him as an ally/minion. And Ash foresaw his fate, which suggest Cael isn't linked to Ash's own destiny. But i think he will have to hunt just like the Daimons which he regrets, both him and his wife. I do get that the souls within him will still likely die and will need to be replaced, but is he maybe an other unexplored as of yet something? Also, don't the Daimons get more maniacal the older they get (with the more souls they consume)? If Cael is now Daimon or Daimon-like he wouldn't have that nasty edge ...yet. I think Cael is pretty much screwed-I think what might happen is that if he doesn't feed like the Daimons do,then he is destined for instant shadedom,since he hasn't got his soul.The other possibility is that he's a set up for the bomb dropping on what/who Ash really is(Sorry,I'm trying not to get off track here! *G*)I don't think he could be killed and then given his soul immediately like a normal DH,that's too easy.OOH! I just had an idea-if he is like a Daimon now,and must take souls to survive,yet he still is a DH,What if he started getting rid of the Daimons by feeding off them,then killing them when he's through? We know that a Daimon can ,look at Urian and Phoebe! Ash had to make the decision whether to let him go on or intercept him. HE KNEW....so it obviously plays a very big part in Cael and the other Hunters destiny that ASH could not interfere with!
