I just wanted to say that I am reading Zarek's Dance with the Devil for the 4th time this week. I LOVE this book! I still cried when I re-read the scene where he tries to buy some bread but ends up being sold. Oh my God!! My hubbie thinks I'm crazy, telling me "you know he's not real, right?" The hell he ain't!
Well, for the first time I think Adam Black has a little competition!! It's pretty close, but Adam wins by a hair. It's the devilish charm and sex appeal. But Zarek is firmly in the number two spot for my slightly pathetic fantasies ;-) The book was just so emotional. It's been a very long time since a book's had that effect on me. I think the last was Mary Lynn Baxter's "A Day in April" (my all-time favorite). I just got started on Valerius' story. Sounds good!! -- Jolene, 20:03:38 07/12/06 Wed [1] |
