A crucial bug was causing problems with thread rotation in many forums. We worked for many days to fix this bug and, today, installed the changes. Please note: If you have a forum you suspect is corrupt, please use the Backup & Attempt Rebuild option in the Forum Owner area. This option is also updated; it corrects numerous potential problems in forum messages and, (new) re-distributes posts into the archives.

Important:
In the update, a new bug entered the picture which we were unaware of for a few hours of up-time. This bug caused new posts from a forum's main index to go to incorrect forums. We immediately took down VoyForums once the problem was reported, fixed the problem, and were back up within a few minutes. However, there were still a few hours in which posts may have been posted to the wrong forum. If you own a forum and have found stray posts in your forum, please delete them. If you are not the owner of the forum a message was misposted to, please e-mail VoyForums Support with the Forum ID the post was intended to go to, the Forum ID the post(s) went to, and the message number(s) incorrectly posted there. We will delete these posts. We will not move the posts to the proper forum -- you may re-post them if you wish.

Please note, only New posts went to other forums -- post replies should all have gone to the proper forum.

Again, we need your Forum ID, the destination Forum ID, and the message numbers of the stray posts A message number is the number that appears before the .html when viewing a specific message. For instance:

http://www.voy.com/1/2.html

1 is the Forum ID,
2 is the Message Number.

As a side note, and ending on a good note, we are working on a Moderated forum option which should be in soon.
