In 1972 through 1975, Dan and Florence Warner played together and sang vocals or backup on a number of musical projects, mostly recorded in Nashville and some in Los Angeles. In 1974, Dan played, and may or may not have provided some vocals, on Florence's self-titled first solo album. Florence covered Dan's "Song from Half Mountain" and a song Dan has never recorded himself, "The Lady Loves the River." In 1975, Florence recorded a single of "Anyway I Love You." In 1978, she provided vocals on the Twin Sons of Different Mothers album, and in 1981, she released her second solo album, Another Hot Night, on which she covered Dan's "Love Gone By" and "Drawing Pictures," the latter of which Dan did not put on one of his own albums until more than twenty years later.
Also in 1981, Florence released a single of "Hello Love," not a composition of Dan's, but a song which continues to receive air play on radio stations today. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this song from the net?
