Discovery and Early History of The Eggemoggin Reach:

The correct name of what I pronounce as "Lonzo Meadows" is "L'Anse aux Meadows". According to Answers.com, Lief Ericson was the "Norwegian navigator who, according to Norse sagas, was blown off course when voyaging to Greenland and thereby discovered and named Vinland, probably in Nova Scotia or New England". It was this information which caused me to delve further into what Lief and his band found, because in school, we only learned about the archealogical findings in Newfoundland. We now find that all of the Icelandic sagas are accurate.
