Dearest Paula:

Please repeat the following until you mean it. Then you will be cured:

1. I admit I am powerless to restrain myself from this destructive, accusatory, irresponsible posting, using the names of other persons or created names, and my life has become unmanageable.

2. I acknowledge that only a Higher Power, a Power greater than I, can restore me to sanity.

3. I have decided to turn my will and my life over to the care of this Higher Power.

4. I have made a searching and fearless moral inventory of myself.

5. I have admitted to this Higher Power, to myself, and to another human being, the exact nature of my wrongs.

6. I am entirely ready to have the Higher Power remove these defects of character and have humbly asked that my shortcoming be removed from my life.

7. I have made a list of all persons I harmed, became willing to make amends to them all and made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

8. I have continued to take personal inventory and when wrong promptly admitted it.

9. I have sought through prayer and meditation to improve conscious contact with my Higher Power, praying only for knowledge of that Will for me and the power to carry that out.

10. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, I have tried to carry this message to others with the same problem, and to practice these principles in all my affairs.

11. I have determined that I will ignore my middle-aged demons, my frustration and hormonal mood swings which I use as the excuse for the destructive behavior which I have wrought on myself and others.

12. I have determined that I will cease being the bitch from hell.
