Subject: Hi Joan

I just finished typing out a long email in responce to your email to me. I hit the wrong button and the whole thing vanished...poof!

I have been studying the life of Amiee Semple Mcphearson. Did you know that all manner of things were healed in her service. Blind men felt swerling lights in their eye sockets and received sight. People who could not walk stood up and walked. When I visited Angelus Temple in 1993, Pastor Sanders gave me the 'cook's tour' of the place. Amiee used to have a room full of old wheel chairs, back braces and crutches that came from people who left that place completly healed. It was an amazing experience for me. I could sense an anointing residing in that building.

Today there is a young 'mega~church' type ministry in the place. I sence nothing beyond the typical mega church there now...sigh.

Inspite of Amiee's proclivity to be like every other Benny Hinn type, she had an anointing for healing. Ambulances would pull up to the alley behind here cottage and she would pray for whom ever was in them. More often then not the ambulance would have to cancel their trip to the hospital, as the occupants would get up and leave completly healed!

She believed that there was healing within the atonment of Christ. Interesting to note that Kathryn Kulhman worked in Bullocks department store days and attended Amiee's services nights. Pastor Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel attended Amiee's services with his parents as a young man and eventually graduated from L.I.F.E. bible college. Chuck's wife was involved in Amiee's church also. The anointing from her ministry burned through the lives of many prominent people who went forward to minister powerfully.

Amiee traversed the United States of America before there were any roads in a model T preaching the gospel. She owned and operated one of the first radio stations in America. She had the first Bible oriented radio station. Before there was an FCC she broadcast such a strong signal that people could clearly listen to her in the midwest from Angelus Temple in Los Angelus.

Inspite of her 'Benny Hinn' type lifestyle God used her to heal people. She had a house located on a small hill above lake Elsenor that was near a neighborhood populated with movie stars. I have been to it. There is something fascinating about tracing the steps of people that God has used in the past.

Our Savior will use any yielded vessel to do His work. No one ever healed anybody. It was always Jesus Christ moving through someone that heals.

Keep believeing and expecting for your miracle! God hears your petitions. To heal a head ache or a brain tumor is all the same to God. Nothing is too hard.
