Subject: the prophetic voice which is coming

The Prophetic Voice which is Coming


[read the chapters so that you learn and see; we all need the Word,some will be able to skim and some will not -- be led by the Spirit.]


Matt.11
We see Jesus and John the Baptist. Jesus spoke of John as the messenger who was sent ahead to 'prepare the way' of Him who was and is and is to come. To make straight paths for Him: the mountains and hills brought low, and the valleys filled in; to make the crooked roads straight, and the rough ways smooth. The prophet calls [gives voice] out in the wilderness so that the lost will come and see all that is spoken of as the voice of God.

We are not to be looking for men dressed in fine clothes and who lives in palaces. We are to be looking for the one whom God has chosen to send dressed in Christ [not in self-indulgence]. These prophets of God are chosen by Him and not by men; they want what God wants and not what men want. They are simple individuals set apart to proclaim God's Word and Kingdom. And they are much more than a prophet, they teach and lead like shepherds in the wilderness the lost, the hungry, and the thirsty; they feed and water the sheep.

These prophets carry a message of the Kingdom of God and heaven. They know that the Lord comes! And they are sent ahead of Him whom comes! They are prepared with a message of hope and of repentance. They come anointed by God with His words in their mouths. The religious and self-important will withstand them, but it is God whom they withstand. They will not listen to these prophets whom God sends ahead of the Lord [the Bridegroom] because they believe that their judgments are of demons [or that they are crazy and know not what they say]; but judgment begins in the house of God. John came to God's people first, and Jesus came to God's people also first. Both had a message. John came neither eating nor drinking, and it was spoken of him that he had a demon; while the Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say that He is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners! But wisdom is proved right by her actions.

Jesus was a prophet as well as John the Baptist.
John reminds me more of an evangelistic prophet, while Jesus was an apostolic prophet [along with the other ministry gifts of evangelist, pastor and teacher]. There were signs in Jesus' ministry to proclaim who He Is.
There will be 'woe' proclaimed to the cities that do not repent because of the signs that will come to proclaim the Lord. God is giving everyone a chance to repent in these last days. There will be signs following His Word - God will confirm "His" Word.

And in Jesus Christ will we find rest for our weary souls; burdens will be removed because it is the anointing which shall destroy every yoke. And we will take upon us His yoke for it is easy and His burden is light; that means that we are not left alone, that God comes along side of us with "His" yoke so that we can work together doing His will. We may think it heavy 'if' we try to do it on our own, but we must learn to follow Him [His leading] and we will get through every obstacle along life's way.


Matt.12

We must know and learn that Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath. Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath. It is not a law, but a way of life [living]. It is not burdensome, but a place to go and be at rest. It was the first day in which man and woman came to know God in His rest by trusting Him for He is the Creator.

We stop striving and we rest in Him, looking unto Him who is the Author and Finisher of our faith. In this abiding place we will find rest for our souls, and find strength in our spirits as we go unto Him; it is He who will fill us. He is our shelter [refuge]. {Psa.91:1.) WE must take that day of rest, and rest in Him. In whatever that day it is............REST.

If the Lord has something for you to do that day, then do it: be a blessing, rescue someone, save them from the cliff and put them on firm ground. Just don't make the sabbath a law. Give God praise on that day and worship Him. Love Him, and let Him fill you. Rest.

God's people will be brought together for His Kingdom. It will no longer be divided [as we see this day]. We will be under one rule: HIS. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. And so with the Spirit of the Lord God's will will be done! Jesus Christ will have His rightful place as Head of His Church! And satan's kingdom shall be divided as we use the Word of God rightly! There will be such spiritual warfare [activity] that it's because we have learned to use the Word of God rightly, and the devil and his demons will feel the effect of God's Kingdom come! Hallelujah! We will enter the strongman's house and spoil it with God's Word! Captives will be set free, for it is the Truth which sets the captives free in Jesus' name! Jesus Christ shall be exalted! And in such case the Father will draw all men unto Himself! It will not be man's glory, but God's Glory! Praise ye the Lord! We will know who is of the Lord and who is not, for by their fruit shall we know them and we will not be making false judgments for we grow up spiritually with the five ministry gifts given unto men by the Lord as they are set into place.

And out of the heart the mouth speaks. We shall be filled with 'His' Word! Not with opinions, nor what man thinks! But, WITH HIS WORD!

The wicked shall ask for a sign, but it shall not be given them. God shall not be tempted [put to the test] for who He Is. Signs will already be given as to who He Is, but the miracles they will not believe. We keep doing what the Lord has called us to, despite those who do not believe. We must move forward!

Back to Matt.11:12-15 "From the days of John the Baptist until now, the Kingdom of Heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men (and women) lay hold of it. For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John. And if you are willing to accept it, he is the Elijah who was to come. He who has ears, let him hear." John and Jesus who were sent into the wilderness before their ministry were prophesying that which was to come. They were taking the Kingdom and bringing it forth into the heavenlies and then into this earth for a mighty manifestation of God's power! Each one of us has a job to do - a purpose that God has called us to; and if we will but do it, no matter how big or how small, God's will will be done. John didn't have miracles, but, isn't the saving of souls a miracle?! Repentance came! There is a purpose for the wilderness season. To prophesy and speak forth God's will into the earth. We may be hurting and crying out for ourselves, but let's use that time to also pray for others and for God's will to be done! John didn't cry out for things, nor did Jesus. They sought the Father's will. Both were filled with the Spirit, how much so do we!

As John laid a hold of the Kingdom, so Jesus. The prophetic brings in the Prophet! It was a new start - a new beginning. John came out of the old prophetic voice and into the new: the manifestation of God's power! And JESUS CHRIST came onto the scene!

The spirit of Elijah stirs the hearts of God's people 'to come', to come unto the Lord for He calls. The Lord wants a holy [consecrated] people unto Himself. A Bride without spot or wrinkle [without blemish]. A people set apart unto Him. A holy nation, a royal priesthood. God is calling us now! Be set apart unto Him! If you have ears to hear the Spirit, then answer His call. If you are deaf, or if even a very little, ask the Lord to open up your ears! HEAR HIM!

I am reminded of the 3 who went up the mount of transfiguration with Jesus. After what they say they wanted to set up monuments unto Jesus, Moses, and Elijah! We are not to do that! God says to HEAR HIM! Hear His Son! We are coming [entering] into a time in which we must choose to serve Him only, and not others nor things. We must be sensitive to His Spirit. We must know His voice. We must recognize Him, and not turn back! There is so much of man's wisdom here on earth that we follow it, instead of Truth [which is true counsel]. The Greater One who is greater than the gifts of wisdom that has been given unto men comes! HE is the One whom we seek for wisdom.

It's time that we do the will of our Father who is in heaven. It's time that we advance 'His' Kingdom. Are we willing to let loose of those [even family members] who do not seek His will? Are we willing to make disciples? Are we willing to teach and preach the Gospel? Are we willing to truly come together as the Body of Christ with Christ as the Head? Are we willing to let go of false doctrines and the doctrines of men? Are we? The choice is ours.



Matt.13

It's the parable of the sower. We will come unto many who will not receive and who will not understand [the Kingdom] because they choose not to, but, we keep on planting/sowing the Word. The evil one will come to steal, to kill, and to destroy, but we must choose Life, and choose to have it more abundantly. There is a spiritual war going on! And we must know and understand and STAND!

God finds great value in people, but most people do not find any value in themselves. God will put His Pearl of great value into us [earthen vessels] if we will choose His Son, for by His Spirit will we be filled. There are weeds to be pulled up, and they will be pulled up with the Word of God. Those who do not receive of God's Kingdom will be cast out and burned in the fiery furnace where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. May we pray for the lost so that they be found. May we cast our nets out as the Lord directs. May we preach the Gospel and demonstrate it. And may we be found in Him!

Are we willing to sell all that we have to buy that land [Kingdom] of great price? All we have to give is ourselves. Without Him we already belong to another: the devil, for he is the god of this world, he is prince, but not "The Prince!" Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace, and only in Him do we find this true peace.

Let's not dishonor His prophets. We may know them and know their parents, etc. But it is God who calls and anoints 'His' chosen and gives them His words to speak.



Matt.14

Wicked ones will seek to stop the voice of the ones with the spirit of Elijah by having their heads cut off, this speaks of silencing their authority. But their voice shall not be silenced, for as they step out of their call and into the call of Christ Jesus, {like from the O.T. prophets into the N.T. prophets), His Kingdom shall come and His will be done here on earth as it is in heaven! God's Kingdom will march right in and take what is His because it has been spoken forth [prophesied] by these righteous ones who were willing to take their place and to decrease while He increases with all His authority so that more miracles come to the flock and in raising up a generation who will truly serve the Lord! There may be those left who will not surrender and serve the Lord as we see in the Book of Revelations, but, there are those who will heed the call as it were in the days of John the Baptist and of Jesus. There will be Bread and the New Wine to be poured out and to feed the flock [God's people] and to all those who are willing to partake of Him and become one of His. And except this time, there will be a calling to come up to yonder place to be with Jesus forever!

[note: why the O.T. prophetic voice? it's because of the severe calling like these O.T. prophets to call God's people back unto Him. but they shall move into the N.T. prophetic calling as God's people moves back towards Him giving up those things which have controlled them and surrendering themselves unto the Most High God. 'if My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves and turn away from their wickedness, and turn unto Me and pray, then I will hear them and answer them and heal their land.']
