No one, except those of the world who love the world, can deny that America has it's problems. Whewww... I won't go into it.

I do know this, that we can not allow it to get to us. We are the lights, the salt, and we will not lose our flavor.

Jesus said these things 'must' be, but gives us hope. Even the lukewarm will be able to see the difference. Our lives here in this country can make us so soft, and we must resist this. Jesus will help us resist.

We need to show our stability, (or get some if we are rocking back and forth in issues (smiles))and be the hope of Jesus others can see in our lives.

It may not feel like we are making a difference, but we are. When the world around us crashes, where do we go? To someone who has a steady hand and can help. We can be those steady hands.

Lets keep our heads high and our feet planted. I got this funny feeling that we are really going to need to be able to hear God speak to us and through us for others. I feel like it is a time of getting prepared to feed a mulitude in the dessert (or is that desert?) (the sandy places :)

I am not ignoring the earthly realities around us.. oh my my my..
oh my.. (had to throw in one more :(

But Jesus won't let us down, and we will not let the Lover of our hearts down either.
