Amen and amen!!!

Glory to God! Thank you so much for sharing this. There is so much meat here to chew on and I pray the reader will do just that. Several years ago the Lord showed me that we needed both the Written Word and the Holy Spirit to bring about a balance in knowing God's will in our lives. We learn from both, the logos (written) and rhema (revealed word as given by the Holy Spirit). Jesus had a higher form of knowledge, so to speak, doing that which He saw His Father doing. In the eyes of the religious leaders of His day, Jesus went against the Laws of Moses, healing on the Sabbath day. If we lived in that hour when our Lord walked the earth, how would we have received Him, as the Son of God or as one who broke the laws of Moses. We must search our hearts and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal whatever is hidden there, especially if a religious spirit has taken place within. Jesus was a rule breaker in the eyes of many. Yet, He always did the will of the Father. How can that be? Well, as I was typing this I was thinking, "Hmmm, if God rests on the Sabbath then the Sabbath must be a day where many people die, chaos is rampant and the enemy has a field day!" Think about it, if the only thing God didn't do on the Sabbath day was listen to prayers, can you imagine what would happen! Lord, have mercy. Like Jesus said, the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. We are to rest on the Sabbath becasue our bodies, minds and spirit needs that day of rest to fellowship with God, our families, our friends so that we can take the cares of the world off our shoulders and rest in His dear arms and look at the blessings around us. Oh, I could go on and on but suffice it to say that God is opening our eyes, our ears and our hearts to draw ever closer to Him through His Son so that we can live in this moment as He desires us to do, by His Spirit. He is calling us to His kingdom living, preparing us for the time our Lord and King comes to reign upon the earth. For 2000 years it has been God's will to set His kingdom upon the earth, as it is in heaven. Jesus' prayer was for this very thing. Let us be obedient to our beloved Lord and allow His Spirit to set up His kingdom in our hearts and in our lives that it might be manifested in the earth for His glory,in Jesus' name I pray. Amen and amen.

Seeking His will,
Joan
