Subject: Fundraising with Dresses

Each year for Miss Texas we draw for our placing in the pageant. If you draw first, you get first pick of your number and group, if you draw last...you basically get no say at all.

This year we are changing things around. The contestants gain point to draw first based on how many outfits they bring for Miss America's Outstanding Teen's platform, Caitlyn's Closet.

Basically, Caitlin Brunell, 2008 Miss America’s Outstanding Teen, national project is Caitlin’s Closet. Caitlin’s Closet helps young women who would love to attend extracurricular school functions but find it difficult because of financial restraints. Caitlin collects and distributes “cleaned, gently worn” clothing for homecoming, parties and proms to those in need. She is asking others to join her in her endeavors. What might be an outcast gown to you or someone else might become a treasure to a young lady who wants to attend her prom this spring.

We get more points for larger girl dresses, but receive points for any formals, cocktails or pants outfits. If you have any (I don't care how ugly), you are looking to get out of your closet, please help me out by sending them my way. I am not looking for anything you could easily make a nice profit over or plan to use in the future, but if you just relly have an outfit that is taking up extra space in your closet, I could really use the extra point so I can get a good draw :)
