Subject: Glad Shannon got to come home. I know everyone will be happier with her home now. I am doing much better too. Almost at full speed again. What is it with all this sick stuff going around everywhere? Maybe this week will be better for everyone. It is about time. Glad the girls are well and back to school. It is very cold here but no snow yet! I am going out for a walk this afternoon in the woods. I think I will take a little lunch and just enjoy nature this afternoon. hmmm wonder if the fish are biting today?

The doctor wanted her to stay another couple of days, but Stuart told him she needed to be home in her own bed. Kassie got well and went back to school this week. Caroline and Elizabeth got well and were doing good this weekend. But, now their father, Clint, is in bed with strep. It's supposed to get cold here tonight.....can't wait!
