The "little sidekick" is doing great with the traveling. I think she likes it. And I'm doing just fine with being a single parent. It's a HUGE change, o'course. Seems like I'm learning more every day... oh, she is too. It's kind of nerve-wracking, wondering if I'm raising her right, or if I should do this or do that to help her grow up to be a good, strong sim... Well, mostly, I'm loving it. Except the "single" part. I'm almost literally the only person left in my circle of friends who's single. It gets depressing sometimes. *shrugs* Oh well.
