Nope. Still sucks. But talking to you made me feel a tad better, just to get it all out, you know?

Well, a pool's always a nice asset to a home, but if I were you I'd go with a fenced in pool, because of the kids.

Well, let's evaluate. Red is the colour of energy, danger, or determination, but also passion, desire, and love. Eh.

Purple is associated with royalty, wisdom, creativity, mystery, and magic. Light purple is very feminine, but dark symbolizes sadness and frustration. Meh.

As for green, or emerald, which is my favourite colour! It usually symbolizes harmony, money (lol), ambition, and has a very strong correspondence with safety and nature. But it can also mean greed and jealousy.

Sapphire, and most blues are very calm colours, it symbolizes trust, loyalty, confidence, faith, and truth. It's very calming. Dark or sapphire blues often represent knowledge, power, integrity, and seriousness.

And black, well, black is associated with power, elegance, formality, but also death and evilness. It usually has a negative connotation (black comedy, blacklist, etc), but it's also a very formal, elegant, and prestigious colour.

I think those are right. I've taken an art class or two in my day, and had to memorize the meanings of colours. So, if I were you, I'd go with emerald, or sapphire, just 'cuz their pertiest. :)
