We get all stinky about rule changes around this board when they don't get the famous two weeks notice.


How about
"under the powers vested in me,I would not allow a World Series to finish on a rain shortened game"

How about the rules state:

in the event that a game is called for a weather related event, it shall become complete after 4 1/2 innings with the home team ahead, 5 complete if the home team is behind.


Glad to know that after ruining baseball over the last 20 years, having NO back bone to address the players union or Donad Fehr, allowing drug use to require an asterick next to most modern records......the Commissioner of baseball now makes up his own set of rules for the world series.


There is a reason, I have only watched about 6 innings of the fall classic, and almost no playoff games.



Baseball as we know it is Dead.
Just a shame Bud Selig isn't.
